MCU 4: Iron Man 2 & Thor

First... Iron Man 2,

So this is gonna be short, let me get some of the great things this movie did:

a) it introduced us to Black Widow and War Machine, 2 characters who become integral to the MCU and have since become favourites of mine.

b) Tony inventing the new element was a very very cool montage scene, the clips of him doing renovation, putting everything together, Tony building stuff is just awesome to watch.

c) the villain (Justin Hammer, not Whiplash) was done well, the sleezy, jokey, Stark wannabe was the character and Sam Rockwell pulled it off brilliantly.

Other than that, the movie had a weak plot, the character building we got in the first was gone in this one, and Whiplash was such a disappointment.

Now, Onto Thor

Out of all the movies so far, this had the least relatable characters, Thor is powerful and over the top arrogant, and then sad and mopey, Jane Foster is starstruck by Thor and only cares about her theories and Thor, nothing else, their connection however manages to be cute, sweet & cheesy.

Loki is the best & most realistic character in the movie, he's manipulative and crafty, and shows real emotion, re-watching this I made a new theory about when Loki made his plans for the throne, I'm so glad they chose to keep this villain and not even make him reoccurring but bring him in as a hero, I'm so looking forward to his show.

The Plot line was good and heart warming, a "prodigals" son of sorts.

Knowing again where Thor gets to in the MCU, it's weird to see him less powerful, less charismatic.

Overall it was a very very enjoyable movie,

However, as I've grown older I'm also able to see the flaws in stuff, the acting is a lot weaker than in previous Movies.
