(sorry for the late post, just been busy)
Avengers
When I came out of the cinema, after watching Avengers, I felt pumped, thrilled, excited, and very very satisfied, having watched all the movies leading to it, seeing all these characters, you can't help but wait till they all come together, and that's hard to do right, but Joss Whedon did it.
Avengers is a movie of one liners, but they're all hitters, they're all lines that you end up quoting for years to come, I literally heard my sister quoting Avengers last night, it has so many memorable moments in it, despite not watching in a while, I remembered close to everything that happened in it, and you may say "well doesn't that ruin it?" no... No it does not.
Each character in this movie, gets a good amount of plot development, they all get their screen time and you manage to become even more attached to them than you had already. Seeing Natasha shaky after interacting with Hulk, seeing Cap and Tony go from fighting to helping each other, losing Phil etc etc the list goes on.
This movie meets every expectation that was set out for it, I'd say it exceeds it.

Iron Man 3
Iron Man 3 is a good movie.
"Batman is just a guy with gadgets right?" no, he has high level intellect, some of the best martial arts skills in his universe, and more.
"but Iron Man is just a rich smart guy with a suit?"
Iron Man 3 disproves that last statement.
In this movie, Tony is stripped of his "Power" and has to make do with what he has.
As the kid says: "why don't you just build something"
And that's what Tony does in this movie, he McGyvor's his way out of situations, has at least 3 fights without a full suit, and maintains being a total kick butt, one of my favourite scenes is Tony fighting a bunch of mercs with just an Iron Man hand and foot, less than half his suit and he manages to be awesome.
I really can't say a lot more about this movie, the villian was average, the story plot isn't great, but it's just a FUN movie, the action is awesome and exciting.
